- Ceramic Coated 1.4” (38mm) Titanium Dome Tweeter
Ceramic coating helps to reduce over tones and harmonic distortions that can occur when using Titanium at higher power levels. The unique tweeter assures the system is producing the highest sound quality with the lowest distortions.
- 35mm (1”) dome on a 25mm (1”) voice coil
Creating a larger radiating area on the dome creates more output giving the tweeter a louder yet smoother sound.
- Removable Phase Lens
The phase lens allows “Dispersion Tuning” which permits the listener to widen or narrow the width of the soundstage depending on the chosen mounting location. When the tweeter is installed away from listeners or pointing at a windshield, a wide dispersion is better - phase lens on.
When the tweeter is mounted with direct access to the listener, the phase lens off, creates a narrow soundstage with brighter high tones. Additionally, the phase lens aides in reducing harsh harmonic that can develop at higher frequencies.
- Nylon Surround
The Z-Line tweeters are mated to a Nylon Surround which dramatically reduces the Fs specification. Subsequently, you will hear very smooth high frequencies, even when pushing the system hard.
- Oversized thermal formed cone
The injection molded Polypropylene Cone delivers impactful midrange/midbass and is perfectly matched to the Butyl Rubber Surround for great sound.
- Under mounted UV butyl surround
Mounting the surround on the backside of the cone improves strength. Flexible piston action UV protected rubber which will be impervious to temperature swings of very warm and very cold.
- PA66 composite Baskets with Glass Fiber reinforcement
PA66 is a composite cast material designed to be used in future orbital spacecraft. Its purpose is incredible strength but lightweight. PA66 is what NASA uses to eliminate metal parts with composites.
PA66 is far more temperature and chemical resistant than standard plastics or ABS. This is important when developing low midrange and bass frequencies in a small diameter driver. Reduce the flex in the frame and you tighten the sound by eliminating weak points in the mounting system.

- Voice Coil Former
Aluminum - Lightweight aluminum former which helps voice coil dissipate heat
- Bumped Design Cotton Spider
Adhesive impregnated cotton spider with bumped design which allows for more clearance and longer excursion
- Crossover Design
12db high-pass / low pass crossover on coax hidden in the pole piece of the tweeter. High end capacitors and resistors create a smooth transition between midbass tones from the woofer/midbass higher frequencies handled by the tweeter. These crossover points make critical frequencies seamless and distortion free.
- Spring Loaded Terminals
All speakers utilize spring loaded connectors for positive and negative speaker wire connections. Connectors are satin finish nickel plated brass to resist rust

Euro-DIN - Unique shaped mounting brackets and holes to accommodate OEM and custom installations for midrange
